Pellets ( pilety , pellets , wood pellets ) are a type of solid fuel obtained by compressing wood waste production. Our company is engaged in the sale and manufacture of pellet varieties «Premium » DINPlus A1 and A2 of soft woods ( pine, spruce) on granulating equipment capacity of 2000 kg per hour. The starting material ( sawdust, wood chips , sawmill waste product ) is crushed to a state of wood flour , dried , and then pressed into pellets with diameter of 6 mm and 8 mm .

The fabrication of fuel pellets do not apply chemical additives . Milled wood particles glued together during pressing by lignin contained in the tree . Finished granule is cooled and packaged in a convenient storage and transport container.

Properties of pellets

On the thermal properties of the pellets even surpass coal ( calorific value equal to 5 kW / h per 1 kg) , while possessing a unique environmental indicators . According to research , the granules release pellets as CO2, as adopted during growth timber (closed carbon exchange ) . During the combustion of fossil fuel CO2 is released at times higher , leading to an increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and hence to anthropogenic greenhouse effect.

Efficiency of fuel pellets . For heating houses 1 ton of pellets is released as heat energy from the combustion of 1500 kg of firewood, 475 m3 of gas , 500 liters of diesel fuel oil or 700 liters .

Firewood or pellets ?

Efficiency in heating pellets up to 95 % , significantly higher than the efficiency of wood. This is easily explained : wood pellets is much denser wood. In the pellet per unit volume of wood is more concentrated and therefore more heat. Relative humidity well-dried wood is 20%. In the process of burning wood heat emitted portion is spent on evaporation.

Our company is a manufacturer of wood pellets ensures humidity not more than 7-9% , which is several times lower than the moisture content of wood. For heating pellets for evaporation of natural moisture takes less energy than wood.

Moreover , the calorific value fuel to the average estimated at 2 kWh / kg. Pellet the figure is 5 kWh / kg. Thus, in one kilogram of wood pellets in 2.5 times more heat energy than one kilogram of well-dried wood. In addition, the fuel pellets 2 times lower than the consumption of firewood , and comparable to coal consumption indicator of average quality.

Fuel pellets in pellet boilers depends on output and area of ​​heated space . The average flow rate is from 2 to 20 kg per hour for the boiler output , respectively 9 kW and 100 kW.
